NO2.

$144.00

Inspired by seashell textures, ancient artifacts, and shells used in various cultures for spiritual purposes, this piece carries deep personal significance.

Back in April, during a session with my hypnotherapist, the image of a large nautilus shell came to me, handed to me by my future self as a gift. I was told that, when in doubt, I should listen to the shell, like when you were a child and put shells up your ears to hear the Ocean.

The shell is here to remind me that the answers to life’s questions come from within. Just like how the sound of the ocean is heard through the shell, it too holds its own intelligence. We hold our own intelligence. May this sculpture serve a reminder that what you seek is not external, but internal.

This piece contains no glaze, meant to evoke the feeling of being old, weathered, as if it’s just washed up on shore or was buried under the sand. On the left side of the piece, there is a spiral shape designed to hold incense, reflecting the spiral nature of shells. In the center, there’s a space to hold your palo santo, sage, or even a candle as it burns. I love these pieces because they offer endless possibilities—you can truly make them your own.
